Jembatan Limpapeh - Limpapeh Bridge in Bukittinggi

Jembatan Limpapeh or Limpapeh bridge is another beautiful suspension bridge in Bukittinggi that located around Jalan Ahmad Yani. The functional mostly related to connected between wildlide parks (Bukittinggi zoo) and Fort de Cock. Total long of bridge is 90m and width 3,8m.


The Profile of Jembatan Limpapeh.


The bidge was founded in 1996. The local Goverment need to build this bridge as a connecting way between two main things of tourist destinations. Not only that, the architecture of Jembatan Limpapeh established astonishing colors (red and yellow) that linking to the typical architecture of the house Minangkabau.

How to get there.


It's not far from Jam Gadang. Just go through from wildlife park. From here the tourist can see the beautiful Bukittinggi city and feel the freshness of cool weather. An extra view of Jam Gadang, green hills, and Mount Merapi always see so clearly on right and left side. But always be careful of your belonging, some monkeys from the wildlife sometimes will take any action to bring any personal item from the visitors.

The entering fee


Pay entering fee IDR 10,000 (less 1US$) and proceed the Jembatan Limpapeh bridge into Fort de Kock.
